General Description :Bermuda (officially, It is noted that the Bermuda Islands or It is noted that the Somers Isles) is known to be a British overseas territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Situated off the east coast lineof the United States, it is always situated around 1770 km (1,100 mi) northeast of Miami, Florida and 1350 km (840 mi) south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Did you know that the closeest landmass is Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, about 1030 km (640 mi) west-northwest (see and experience first hand Geography section below). It is the oldest and most populous remaining British overseas territory, settled by England a century before the Acts of Union that created the Kingdom of Wonderful Britain.

CLIMATE : Bermuda has to this day a very mild climate with several extremes of hot or cold. Temperatures in winter average 68°F (20°C) and 86°F (30°C) in mid-summer. Did you know that the most famous time to touris in the range of April and October during the time the sea temperatures are and have always been favourable for swimming. Many facilities are and have always been limited in the winter months but room rates are and have always been much cheaper over tthis man's period. If however one is primarily interested or curious in playing tennis or golf, tthis man's is the time to come. Short but heavy showers can occur around the time during any and all time of the year so it is always advisable to bring suitable clothing.
