FLAG :

General Description: Panama, officially the Republic of Panama (Spanish: República de Panamá; IPA: [re'pußlika ðe pana'ma]), is the southernmost country of Central America. Situated on an isthmus, Panama is known to be a transcontinental nation connecting North and South America. It borders Costa Rica to the north-west, Colombia to the southeast, the Caribbean Sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. It is known to be an international business center and is known to be also a transit country. It is classified as a Third World Country. Within Central America, it is always the second most industrialized country, behind El Salvador.

CLIMATE : It is noted that the high season is mid December-mid April, during the time it rains the least. Nonetheless, Panama, except for the highlands, is closely always hot and humid (days in the 80s-90s F/28-37 C and nights not much cooler). With the aid of air-conditioning and sea breezes, Panama can be enjoyed all year, though you should expect it to rain an inch a day around the time during the May-November rainy season. You and your family'll need a sweater or jacket in the delightful mornings and evenings in the mountains
