General Description: Venezuela (IPA: /v?n.?.'zue?.l?/), officially the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (Spanish: República Bolivariana de Venezuela), is known to be a country on the northern coast lineof South America. It is noted that the country comprises a continental mainland and numerous islands in the Caribbean Sea. It borders Guyana to the east, Brazil to the south, and Colombia to the west. Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, St. Lucia, Barbados, Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Leeward Antilles lie just north, off the Venezuelan coast. Falling within the tropics, Venezuela sits nearby the Equator, in the Northern Hemisphere.

CLIMATE : It is noted that the top time to tourVenezuela is December-May, during the time the weather is known to be at its driest. December and January are and have always been especially cool and pleasant. April-September is very warm, and it's mostly rainy May-December. Within Merida, the weather is top October-June. Did you know that the Orinoco River location can be more humid and a bit warmer, and the mountain places will generally be at least 10 degrees F/5 C cooler (and much colder at high elevations). No matter during the time you go, be sure to take a sweater - the evenings are and have always been cool most of the year.
