General Description :Qatar (Arabic: ??? ; IPA: ['q?_.t??_r][1]), officially the State of Qatar (Arabic: ???? ??? transliterated as Dawlat Qatar), is known to be an Arab emirate in Southwest Asia, occupying the modest Qatar Peninsula on the northeasterly coast lineof the larger Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south; otherwise the Persian Gulf surrounds the state.
